I have ran an Abaqus simulation for a standard material with linear-elastic properties and using geometrical non-linearity and I get a get a curved shape function for the force vs time plot.
I have also used an analytical equation which is a standard equilibrium based on un-deformed structure. When I plot force vs time for this I get a linear graph.
Is there any explanation why abaqus would plot a curved graph instead of the linear shape?
