Hello, this is my first post and hopefully I've posted to the right area...
I know that a pressure node in a standing soundwave is at the same place as a displacement anti node, and vice versa, and could explain it physically, I just would like to show it mathematically. I assume it will have something to do with the fact that the derivative of a soundwave is a cos wave... Maybe using Bernoulli's equation?
I would appreciate some help with where to start.
Many thanks
