hi, I'm a student mechanical engineering, on the moment we're building a hybrid scooter.
We've got a generator attached to our combustion engine with a 3 phase output of about 380V dependable on the rpm. The circuit of the batteries is 48V. So I'm searching for an effecient way to go from my 3-phase 380V AC to 48V DC both voltage aren't constant. Our idea is to first invert the AC to DC and then use a buck-converter. Our generator has a power of 1,0 kVA.
