Hello,
Can someone explain / show me how equations (15) and (16) are derived from equation (14) in this modified ADI-FDTD paper (in the attachment or in the following link)

One can ignore the k's for simplicity. Equations (15) and (16) actually come from equation (3) of this paper. Can someone show me how this Peaceman Rachford splitting has been done? Thank you so much.
