If gravitational lensing proves there is curved space near mass, then does vacuum bend space the other way? Can this be explained without making vacuum be energy? Could vacuum and space in a vacuum just be a lack of energy and still expand? If mass curves space, then can we even adequately measure what intergalactic space may do since we are near to so much mass? Also, in such an experiment, would the mere mass of the experimental apparatus alter the findings if we could get it to intergalactic space?? How could we or has it been measured what a pristine intergalactic space-vacuum's properties would be as the data would have to go through so much curved space to even get to us, perhaps altering the findings?
