I have 2 questions about electromagnetism. Firstly, if a current is passed to a ferromagnetic material such as an iron magnet, will the current reverse the magnet's polarity? If it does, will the polarity stay reversed even after the current has stopped flowing or will it revert to the original status?
Also, if the current is passed to an already magnetic material like iron, will the new field around this magnet have the strength of the iron magnet or the strength of the electromagnetism?
