I wanted to know the equation with derivation for a solenoid which i want to construct with a a hollow iron cylinder as its core.
the thing is i wanted to put things inside the solenoid and look at their behaviour. i wanted to calculate the precise magnetic feild inside the solenoid wud it be the same as the solid core solenoid ie. B = ų(o) x ų(r) x I x n/h
