An immersion heater is to be constructed from nichrome wire to deliver a power of 36 W when operated from a 12 volts supply at 100 degrees celcius. If the wire has a cross-sectional area of 0.10mm sqaured, what lenght of wire will be required?
(resisitivity of nichrome at 0 degrees celcis = 1.08 x 10^-6 ohm metres
Temperature coefiicient of resitance for nichrome = 8.0 x 10^-5 per Kelvin)
