I want to convert 6DOF to single or 2DOF. For example, suppose we have a wind turbine, there are forces in x,y,z directions and moments/torque in x,y,z directions. So is there any method I can make these 6DOF into single or 2DOF at all? Is Lagrangian equations gona help in this situation?
