Hello guys.

I have one question: The cross section for several processes rises with increasing energy. That is the case at high energies. I also know that this increase can not be observed in the laboratory. The answer has something to do with the coupling constant of each interaction, where it becomes very big and can not be applied.

Is this the proper reasoning? If not, then what is it??

Thank you in advance,

N.
