Hi, just a few questions regarding to the aspirin (salicylate) nomogram.
heres the nomogram i've been given:

1.Why is there a 6hr gap at the beginning of the aspirin (salicylate) nomogram?
Is this so we can get an accurate understanding of aspirins effect?
also;
2.Given the data in the nomogram, what would you suggest to be a reasonable therapeutic index for children, and above what level would you suggest would induce toxicity?
I have no idea!
Any help would be nice please, thanks :D
