I got two ways of measuring the value of magnetic field -
Given F = (x/y) * mg, x being the "force"
1) I had to plot a graph of "Force" against current, with (LBy)/mg as the gradient. (Note: L is fixed, and current is varying) From the gotten gradient, I get the result of B, the magnetic field.
2) I had to plot a graph of "Force" against length, with (IBy)/mg as the gradient. (Note: Current is fixed, and L is varying) From the gotten gradient, I get the result of B, the magnetic field.
However, I can't seem to figure out which method is more accurate of determining the magnetic field. Can someone help me on this? Thank you!
