I have to solve problems of a binary system. And I just have a question over terminology. I understand the parallax; 0.38". But, I don't understand what is meant by the true angular extent of semi-major axis; 7.76". It will probably make sense after you tell me what it means, but I don't understand why it is a much greater angle than the parallax.
