Hi there,
I'm trying to work out how to create an analytical model of the hot rolling of an unsymmetrical section, such as a railway line. As far as I can see, there is little/no work that has been done on the subject.
Whilst the analysis of a symmetrical section is relatively simple, incorporating a roller with a non-uniform cross section throws a massive spanner in the works.
Does anyone know how to proceed/know of any texts which may be useful?
