Status of high temp superconductor theory

Is there a consensus theory of high temp superconductors? Are there no plausible theories or a few competing theories? Any thoughts on wheter there is a Nobel for whoever solves the problem (if not solved), as there was for BCS?

(No, I'm not working on a theory ;) )
