Recently, I have become interested in the Quantum anomalous hall effect. However, I'm having some trouble understanding the basics. Could somebody point me to a short introduction of the effect? I would be interested to know how one could actually measure it and what one expects to measure. I know what the anomalous hall effect is, but I'm having trouble to understand how and under what conditions it could be quantized. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
