I have a question:
"If a compass is brought near the poles, where will it point? IS the field strength least or greatest there?
If a compass is brought near the poles, it will point a little east or west of true north. Am I right here?
Also, i believe that the field here is least - magnetic compass is useless because there the lines of force are vertical straight down into the Earth. am I right here?
