Please someone help me to answer this question...Urgent

You're halfway manufacturing a cabinet 1000x450x350(D).You're informed that the size change to 500x500x300(D).What do you do?

Assume you are making a cuboidal box. What are the sizes of the boards needed in each case ? Since it's not stated at what stage the change occurs, let's assume you've cut the boards to the first requirement. Now from these boards, can you cut the boards needed for the second case ? What are the allowed tolerances ? If you take a 1000 long board and cut it in half, you get nearly 500 long boards, but you lose material some from the cut, unless you shear.

And when you say 'manufacturing', are you making just one cabinet or several ?
