Reading all the threads about news reporting and chipping in my twopenneth worth here and there, I'm well aware of the issues discussed, but know very little about U.S. news broadcasters. Brian Hanrahan, a B.B.C. News reporter for the past thirty years, died yesterday:

So I'm asking who the U.S. equivalents are and which news broadcasters allow them to be so, be it Fox, NBC, ABC, PBS MSN News, or whoever.
