An airplane is flying in a horizontal circle at a speed of 470 km/h. If the wings of the plane are tilted 33° to the horizontal, what is the radius of the circle (in m) in which the plane is flying? Assume that the required force is provided entirely by an "aerodynamic lift" that is perpendicular to the wing surface.
I have the formula Ac=v^2/r
The velocity is 130.56 m/s and on my FBD I only have the aerodynamice lift force and the weight of the earth on the plane. I can't seem to figure out how to find either Ac or r with this information. Any suggestions?
