I'm trying to find the height of the riser with a known length between the posts (1 m) and a known acceleration .086 m/s/s
I was given an answer from an example but i'm still not getting it.
my thought was that acc = g(h/L) and i'd solve for h... am i on the right track and the example is wrong?
the answer supposedly is .0176 [m]..
