This is a long-shot, as I'm not even sure if this is in the correct sub-forum, but I'm currently doing research into CT reconstruction, trying to use algebraic reconstruction instead of integrating. The issue I'm running into is that every single paper I read about the topic, they just completely skip over how they arrived at their system matrix, as if it was something trivial. For me it's anything but trivial. I've been bashing my head against the wall about this for quite a while now.
I use Matlab, and there is something called the Image Reconstruction Toolbox that provides functions for this, but they are so poorly documented that I cannot for the life of me figure out how to use any of them.
So I figured I'd just ask if anybody here has any experience with this.
