Maybe a question better suited to medical doctors, but here we go: what if you got hit in the head by the OMG particle (refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oh-My-God_particle), a single proton with the energy of a baseball travelling at 100 km/hr? What would happen, ionisation of brain matter, flat knock-out, pass out the back of your head, etc?
