Hi All,
I am trying to develop a model for the flight of a golf ball and need to plug in CL & CD into my formula. I have come across a couple of articles ('Golf Ball Aerodynamics' -1976, Bearman & Harvey & 'A new Aerodynamic model of a golf ball in flight' - 1994, Smits & Smith) which show experimental measurements in graphical form of both CL & CD for various combinations of Reynolds Numbers/Ball Speed & Spin Rates. My question is, how can I formulate this information accurately to be utilized in a spreadsheet so that for any combination of Reynolds No./Ball Speed & Spin Rate, I can look up the correct CD/CL?
Many Thanks
Andy.
