Hi,
Can anybody give me some clues how to derive analytical expression for velocity of piston in a Slider Crank Mechanism.
The answer is x_dot = rw(sinv+rsin2v/l)
where x_dot = vel. of piston
r= crank radius
l=length of connecting rod
w=angular velocity of crank
v=acute angle which crank makes makes with horizontal centre line of engine cylinder.
I am unable to get x_dot independant of x. :confused:
