I am interested in whether a photon can interact with the quantum vacuum or whether it can interact with a virtual particle pair (is is electron and positron?).
What happens if a photon collides with either an electron or positron?
Will a photon deliberately avoid either an electron or positron?
Please explain why any of this may happen or why it does not.
Look forward to hearing if anyone can help. Thanks
