One major activity related to the string landscape is the counting process. A considerbale number of physicists have engaged in this activity of counting the possible number of vacua, but my question is: how far are we from describing these other vacua, i.e. what their elementary particles are, the equations that govern the laws of motion in these vacua, the number of dimensions, etc... Is there any progress being made towards this or is this not of the current interest?
