i am working on a detector that detects meteor smoke particles in the mesosphere...it uses the standard faraday cup.i am not able to figure out which electrode material is to be used...in some places its given that it is to be an insulator while in others it is given as a conductor..hw do i find out which is it?? if it is an insulator how can i measure the current generated....plzzzz help....its very very urgent!!
