Determine the temperature difference between liquidus and solidus in
the Co-Ni alloy system at 50 atomic%Ni (mole fraction 0.5) assuming ideal
behavior for both solid and liquid solutions.
Given data:
Tm_Co= 1495° C
Tm_Ni = 1455° C
L_Co = 16200 J/mol (latent heat of melting)
L_Ni = 17470 J/mol
I know that I need to plot temperature versus mole fraction of Ni and then plot the solidus and liquidus lines. I just don't know how to do it given only these information.
