I want to find global minimum and global maximum of the function a_0\cos{mx}+a_1\cos{(m-1)x}+a_2\cos{(m-2)x}+a_3\cos{(m-3)x}+...+a_m
Even a rough approximation is enough, all that matters to me is that I can show that the global maximum of this function is positive and the global minimum is negative. Any ideas?
