how were the words infinity and zero originated?how come space is infinete.i dont find any sort of logic in it.space is an undefined quantity.....if u say that space is something otherthan mass.and then comes the term time ...even which confuses alot.which is more fundamental? the mass or the space.indeed these maters are being dealt by philosophical minds rather than mathematical ones! so is there any mathematical theory that relates to such things?

I believe zero comes from an Arabic word. Another word for it is cipher. Infinite is Latin for "not bounded" or "endless".
Maybe the book "Inifinity and the Mind" would help you.

zero to infinity... zero being nothing, and infinity being endless, therefore, zero infinity would be a lot of nothing
there is nothing unless something comes to be
before something comes to be, there has to be time
time is an element not of space or matter, thus, how does time come to be?
what exactly is time, anyway?

Hi,
Consider the universal set of all things. Outside this set there would be both nothing in terms of the empty set and an infinity in terms of that which could be called a not thing.
