Has anyone here had experince doing organic synthesis with phosphate groups attached to your molecule? The one I have in mind has a diphosphate group. Will it be generally unstable since it is a high energy moitey? How hard does it make it to purify things? If I make such a compound, does having a diphosphate group make it almost impossible to cross the cell membrane?
