stuck...

A 1kg mass attatched to a spring of force constant 25 N/m oscillateees on a horizontal, frictionless track. At time t=0, the mass is released from rest at x= -3 cm. Find its max speed and acceleration. And find X(t), d(t), a(t)...

thanks!

PART 2

This time its a spring oscillating from the ceiling of an elevator with angulary freq. omega(w). It is motionless relative to the elevator as the car decends at constant speed v until it stops suddenly. What is the Amplitude,A, of osciallation. and its equation of motion?? (with upward being positive) thanks!
