Before we got around to answering the question whether light was either a wave or a particle, another situation now has arisen.

Are particles themselves only waves?
Dr. Milo Wolff at http://www.quantummatter.com/ seems to think the electron is a scalar standing wave and he claims to have the formula to prove it.

I'd like to know what you people think.

Looks like Dr. Wolff publishes his articles in "Physics Essays" and "Galilean Electrodynamics", journals not noted for their high standards. The web is full of crank sites like this wherein folks can promote their pet theory without the danger of serious peer review.

It seems that other poeple like Bruce Harvey in his Alternative Physics site
http://users.powernet.co.uk/bearsoft/
think in somewhat similar way (I have not read Wolff's work, only the headlines.) But they are both and others try to revive some old idea of replacing everything in the universe to be "a wave" of somekind. It's even said that schrodinger was hoping it to be that way when he propsed the undulatory mechanics equation named after him.

Although I am not in full agreement with these people I hope poeople like you zeusrdx would not underevalute others ideas and spicially "Scientific Work" that is puplished in "Scientific Puplications". In fact one (IMHO) should consider every thought and test it for validity against experimental results and if it is unverified one sould not forgit all about it because it may come true after all and only his own interpoaration of experment results or its conditions truns out to false.
Be careful in judging
thanks
