efficiency of a ramp

i kno this is basic physics compared the other stuff u guys are talkin about but im still a kid and i need help [;)]

i need to kno the relationship between the efficiency of a ramp and its the mass of the cart rolling up it, the efficiency of a ramp and its slope and the efficiency of a ramp and friction [o)]

i also need to kno one advantage and one disadvantage of using a ramp rather than lifting an object vertically
