Rather a simple question

It's 11:30pm, and I have to do a presentation on superconductors tomorrow. In my research I've come across the term 'momentum space,' but in my fairly limited knowledge of these things I'm unsure exactly what that is. I'm desperately trying to find out, so if anyone could give me a basic definition that would be very helpful.
