Hi, I was wondering if my answer is correct for the following problem:
Three charges, q1= +20uC, q2= +5uC, and q3= -35uC are placed at the corners of a square with side lengths 10m. What is the Coulomb force on a fourth charge q4= 15uC located a) at the centre of the square? b) at the other corner c) halfway between charge q1 and q2.
The answers I got were a) 0.149N, b) 0.0536N, c) 0.111N. Are these right? And also, what if the fourth charge were placed a km away? For that, would i make the radius between all charges q1-q4, q2-q4 and q3-q4 equal to 1000m? Thank you so much for your help.
