(For all you Beatles fans out there  , sry wasn't talking about the song!!!! - referring to the thread title)
Who actually gets something accomplished each day? (besides PF threads/posts  !!! Those are groundbreaking achievements of course, but we're discussing a little less monumental activities  )
Just wondering, so I can assess my daily productivity (right now, I'd give it a ....not even gonna go there!!!)
I just feel like I'm not contributing my part to the world lately......... :frown:

This only relates to the title.. That's one of my most favorite Beatles songs. I see the phrase used all the time "A Day in the life of xxxxx". I often wonder if they are only using the phrase cause of the Beatles. I wonder how popular the phrase was before Sgt Pepper?
Who actually gets something accomplished each day?
I try to remain as inert as possible, but unfortunately work sometimes interferes with that and I get something done despite my best efforts.

If you count sitting around as an activity, then I usually meet (and often exceed) my targets.

And, brewnog, sitting around seems to take high priority on my list of activities (and that includes sitting around in time stealing classes!!!)

Well, I woke up around dinnertime today (couple of hours ago), and the first 3-4 hours of any day I consider to be a 'grace period' during which I have no real obligations to perform, because it would be unnatural to expect anything from someone who just woke up relatively recently. As soon as I am in condition to be doing useful things, I'll go right back to sleep.

I woke up at 6, took the dog for a walk. Fed the animals and made coffee. Read PF, then shower and off to work 10 hrs. Read PF at lunch.
Got home, finnished digging one side of a rat wall 12ft x 28 inches{3 more to go}, ate a sandwich, played with animals. Read PF..now I'll wash up and go to bed by 10:30

Don't rub it in, some of us don't have the privilege -yet- of wallowing around w/out any impending duties weighing down our shoulders
Of course, like I mentioned earlier, those duties don't seem to get done anyway, for some
reason :uhh: .............
