Calabi-Yau's & moduli spaces

Hi, I wondered if anyone could give me some more info on what moduli spaces are in the context of a Calabi-Yau threefold. I understand it's something to do with perturbing the Ricci-flat metric but I don't understand how the Kahler moduli space is obtained from this. I'd be very grateful if anyone could help, and thereby help me pass my masters!

While, I'm here, if anyone can give me a simple definition as to what a Killing spinor is, that'd also be great!
