AD, CE and EH?

I've noticed on Cradle of Filth's album inserts they represent the year in which the album was released with a set of roman numerals followed by E.H. rather than A.D. or C.E. I was wondering if anyone here knew exactly what the E.H. represented as it appears to run on the same scale as the tradtional solar calendar i.e MCMXCVIII E.H. is equivalent to MCMXCVIII A.D.
