This one is about 4 years old (I am 14 in the pic):

It's a bit odd for me as a European to see a teenager sporting a beard already; but that's just a difference in cultures, I guess.

I think it's more differences in taste. I don't think all teenagers in Pakistan have a beard, but well perhaps it's more common there than western countries!

It's not cultures/tastes, but genetics. I'm in my late 30's and I can't even come close to growing a beard.

im 5'6" and 205 pounds dammit
i gotta loose about 50 pounds...

Seriously, my whole lineage of males in my family has not had the ability to grow a thick beard or moustache. Sure, I get a 5 o'clock shadow, but it really pretty much stops there. It's kind of sad, but at the same time, I don't like shaving so it works out in the end. I can usually go a few days without having to shave.

There exist quite a few families in Europe who are prodigious beard-growers.
That doesn't mean that the men in those family lines start growing a beard at 14.
That's a cultural difference compared to other cultures.
