Doc Al, I have found your posts extremely insightful and thought provoking, you are indeed a master of your craft. This may sound strange but I see from your profile that you are from NYC, and I wonder if you are the Doctor Al that I met at the New York Hall of Science Gala this past October. I am Jane a recent newcomer to the "Big Apple" and am studying plasma physics at Columbia. If you are the same Doctor I would love to continue our conversations of that evening please contact me through this board.
If not, I apolgize for using the board for this frivolity but would be interested in hearing of any good bookstores or libraries (the Columbia Physics/Astronomy Library on W. 120th is fabulous)you know of in this fine city. Who knows, maybe we can share a cup of coffee and discuss fusion as a future alternate energy source [:))]
