Hi, on the question of broken entanglement, it would be interesting to see if any pattern repeats itself after collapse, though I have not seen much yet on actual particles or atoms that have been entangled, so far all I have seen is experiments with photons of light. All this would depend on a natural change in spin or state with a particle that seems random and it must relate to the other particle's behavior showing they are entangled first. From what DrChinese is telling me we can not change the state on purpose yet unless I am missing something, I have a lot to read still.
your nick is kinda funny, because I'm very interested in audio too. My field is foundations of physics, but I'm currently not affiliated with a university but trying to make some money with my own business. I'm also on Freenode in ##physics, if you're interested in a more relaxed chat.
