electric field, solid sphere inside hollow sphere

1. The problem statement, all variables and given/known data
basically, my question is this, in relation to this diagram, http://www.physicsforums.com/attachm...2&d=1202140386
wouldn't the electric field between the solid sphere and the hollow sphere be a uniform field?

2. Relevant equations

3. The attempt at a solution
