What are the main types of mathematics?

By types, I mean general areas. For example:
-Algebra
-Differential calculus
-Integral calculus
-Multivariable calculus
-Linear algebra

Hey Cinitiator and welcome to the forums.

This is a multi-faceted question: it depends how you look at it.

The big areas of pure mathematics include analysis, topology and algebra. These are divided up into sub-areas and so it goes on.
