Vector fields and the chain rule

Does someone have any good pointers on how to express a vector field after a change of variable? I was mainly interested in some sources that would provide some non-trivial examples and/or problems to work on (this seems like a good skill to have in differential geometry and books on diff.geom. don't tend to have problems relating to this).
