Ansys beam element contours

Does anyone know if one can plot stress contours for BEAM elements in ANSYS along the length? I am modeling a structure with beam elements, with 10 beam elements per member (think of the structure as a truss, with a 10 beam element mesh per member). Anyways, I want to plot the stress variation along the length (not the cross section), however I can't get this to work with any beam element in ANSYS. It won't let me choose Von Mises and choosing the axial stress only gives me a constant stress value across all 10 beam elements of a member. However, I want a nice contour along the beam, as it should be when the structure starts deforming. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.
