Large Plano-convex lens pairs

Hello,
My wife found and bought some large lenses at an auction and we are trying to figure out what we can do with them and how much they may be worth.
After some research, they are apparently Plano-convex. They may have been using in some printing business according to the auction people.
They are 14" in diameter and about 2.5" thick in the middle with 1/4" thick edges.
They are convex on one side, flat on the other.
After burning up some cardboard in 3 seconds, we determined the focal length is about 16" to 18".
Some came in pairs in machined aluminum cases (flat sides facing out), others in a wooden case, others just singularly wrapped in cardboard.
If you could help us determine what they are and their value, we'd appreciate it.
We have plenty of people interested in buying them!
I can send more pictures upon request.
Thank you.
Lyle
