So i have high
voltage power supply (two ignition coils in parallel switched by a mosfet or igbt). Te output its around 100kV (like 300W). The problem i have is that the regular RC or RDC snubbers have too much losses, and they don't really protect my transistors. Is there any energy recuperative snubber (preferable a passive one) and a better protection design for inductive kickback, latch-up and all the problems that can lead to mosfet/igbt failure? Thanks!
