Topics in Solid State
Hi guys
Is there a topic in solid state theory, which is used extensively in in applied physics/optical physics? The reason why I am asking is that I have to write a (not small) report on a topic in solid state physics, and I would really like to find a topic, which is applicable.
I've thought about NEGF and DFT, but what other topics do you guys have in mind?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
